Friday Holy Communion 10am
Holy Communion is the Eucharist or the Lord’s Supper. The Friday morning service is a traditional Anglican Eucharist with two hymns followed by refreshments in the Ministry Centre.
How long is a Friday service?
Fridays@10 is short morning service of about 45 minutes in length. The homily is to the point. Two traditional songs are sung from a hymn book. Then it's time for morning tea.
What can I expect at a Friday Service?
You will be welcomed and offered a Prayer Book and a hymn book.
Everyone sings a hymn to warm-up. The priest will invite you to turn to a page in the Prayer Book (usually page 119 or 168) and you follow along with the prayers.
A short talk is followed by Holy Communion and another hymn.
The morning ends with a yarn and a cuppa next door in the church’s ministry centre.
We are saving a seat for you!
