Come Celebrate Mary Magdalene

Celebrate Mary Magdalene's Lineage of Love at Alstonville Anglicans Retreat Day 22 July 2023

Alstonville Anglicans is delighted to announce a special retreat day dedicated to honouring and celebrating the extraordinary life and teachings of Mary Magdalene. Taking place on July 22nd, this ritual retreat aims to delve into Mary Magdalene's Lineage of Love and explore how it thrives and flourishes within each of us.

The retreat will be facilitated by Anna Sophia, a Sufi guide, ordained interfaith minister, spiritual mentor, and teacher of the Dances of Universal Peace. Anna brings a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to the retreat.

"We invite all individuals seeking to deepen their spiritual connection to join us for this transformative retreat," said Reverend Dr Desiree Snyman the event organizer. “Celebrating Mary Magdalene’s Feast day is an opportunity to tap into the wellspring of love and wisdom within us. Under Anna Sophia's guidance, we will embark on a journey of self-discovery, inspired by the teachings of Mary Magdalene."

During the retreat, participants will engage in guided meditations, reflective exercises, and communal rituals, all aimed at nurturing their spiritual growth and attuning themselves to the wisdom that lies dormant within. By creating a sacred space for introspection and rejuvenation, Alstonville Anglicans aims to foster an environment where attendees can reconnect with their innate divinity and open themselves to the abundance of love and compassion available to all.

This retreat day is open to people of all faiths and spiritual backgrounds, as it seeks to explore the universal principles of love and awakening present in Mary Magdalene's teachings. Attendees can look forward to an enriching experience filled with moments of introspection, self-discovery, and communal celebration.
