Messy Church

Messy Church is the 4th Sunday at 4pm (except January and December)

“Messy Church” is part of a broader network of churches that is an exciting, non-denomination and international movement.

Messy Church Alstonville aims to uphold the 5 core values of being 

• all-age,

• Christ-centred,

• hospitable,

• creative and

• celebratory. 

The all-age (multi-generational) gathering of families enjoy the energy of youth and wisdom of the mature members.

Messy Church is particularly accessible for those not entirely comfortable with traditional church.

It is unashamedly Jesus-centred in culture and content. 

Hospitality is practiced through welcoming all comers and providing a hearty meal to share together. 

Creative activities reflect the Scripture theme of each gathering.

A service celebrating Christ with music and Scripture is held in the Church.

Messy Church is an emerging community that is developing and growing, averaging between 50 and 90 participants plus leaders and team members at each gathering. 

Messy Church is underpinned by a dedicated support team, with core members responsible for the various aspects of the MC program
